حول هذه الأغنية
The Indonesian R&B creator behind Lose Myself in You works within a long, rich lineage of artists who have reimagined the core textures of contemporary R&B to speak to the specific cultural and creative contexts of their home country, building on decades of domestic music scenes that have embraced R&B’s core structural and thematic throughlines while weaving in the nuanced perspectives that define Indonesia’s sprawling, diverse creative landscape. Stretching across more than 17,000 islands, Indonesia is home to hundreds of distinct cultural groups, each with their own longstanding musical traditions, and the artists who build modern R&B from within the archipelago have long drawn on that vast well of cultural heritage to infuse their work with layers of meaning that resonate far beyond the borders of any single community.
