Created by Yogyakarta, Indonesia-based hip-hop artist Toton Caribo, the track features contributions from Jacson Zeran and Novia Bachmid, two of the many collaborators Toton has worked with across his career. Toton’s artistic practice weaves together two distinct sonic worlds: contemporary hip-hop, the genre that forms the backbone of his discography, and traditional Indonesian music, a choice that roots his work in the cultural landscape of his home country even as it engages with global hip-hop traditions.
