Adrian Khalif, an Indonesian singer and rapper, brings a global perspective to his music, shaped by a diplomatic family upbringing that saw him reside in diverse cities such as Geneva, Canberra, New York, and London. This extensive international exposure broadened his musical interests, with his teenage years in New York City proving particularly formative in cultivating his passion for hip-hop. Khalif, who graduated from the University of Indonesia in 2016, signed with E-motion Entertainment and launched his career with the debut single "Made in Jakarta" in 2017, a track featuring Dipha Barus that garnered the Best Hip Hop category award at the AMI Awards in 2017 and has since accumulated over 1.5 million streams. His early impact was recognized when FHM's September 2017 issue highlighted him as "The Next Wonder" in the music industry. Inspired by figures like Kanye West, Adrian Khalif's musicality is deeply influenced by the hip-hop and R&B scenes of New York.
