حول هذه الأغنية
Yayoi Kusama, the artist behind the world's most famous polka dot rooms, has died at 97. Yayoi Kusama, the Japanese artist whose infinity mirror rooms and painted pumpkins turned her into one of the most recognized names in contemporary art, has died at the age of 97. Her company confirmed she passed away in a Tokyo hospital, closing out a career that spanned more than seven decades. Kusama's journey took her from a difficult childhood in Matsumoto, through New York's 1960s art scene, to decades spent living by choice in a Tokyo psychiatric hospital while continuing to create every single day. Long overlooked by a male-dominated art establishment, she eventually became one of the most visited living artists on the planet, drawing record crowds to her immersive installations around the world.
