حول هذه الأغنية
Dolly Parton has died at 80 after a brief, private battle with cancer, her family confirmed. Here's everything we know so far. Dolly Parton, the country music icon and entertainment legend, passed away in Nashville surrounded by loved ones after a brief battle with cancer. Her representatives confirmed she had been admitted to the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center just days before her death. Concerns about her health first surfaced last year when she postponed a planned Las Vegas residency, citing kidney stones and challenges with her immune and digestive systems. Parton had also spoken about the difficulty of managing her own health while caring for her husband, Carl Dean, who died in March 2025. Just over a week before her passing, she missed a scheduled appearance at Dollywood, the theme park she built near her hometown, due to dizziness and dehydration. Days before she died, Parton told People magazine she still had so much she wanted to achieve. Tributes have poured in from across the entertainment industry as fans remember a career that spanned more than six decades, from her 1959 recording debut to her status as one of the most influential singer-songwriters in music history.
