Olivia Rodrigo, an American singer-songwriter and actress, presents the music recording "purple" from France. Rodrigo began her career as a child actress before signing with Geffen Records in 2020 to focus on music. Her debut studio album, *Sour* (2021), topped the US Billboard 200 and nine other charts worldwide, preceded by the US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "Drivers License" and "Good 4 U." Chris Molanphy of Slate called Rodrigo "Gen-Z's most versatile new artist" based on *Sour*'s first three singles. Her second album, *Guts*, released on September 8, 2023, also debuted atop the Billboard 200 and was declared the most critically acclaimed album of 2023 by BBC News. Rodrigo's third studio album, *You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love*, was released on June 12, 2026, with its lead single, "Drop Dead," debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first artist to have each lead single from her first three albums debut atop the chart.
