حول هذه الأغنية
The Filipino creative behind MUNDO 02 works within a long lineage of archipelagic sound makers who prioritize experimentation over easy classification, leaning into the freedom of the Music/Other genre designation to let their work exist on its own terms, unshackled to the expectations that come with being boxed into more mainstream, codified categories that often govern how sound is shared and experienced. MUNDO 02 emerges from a community of creators across the Philippines who have rejected the pressure to align their work with industry norms that favor identifiable, marketable genres, instead carving out space for sound that defies singular description, that pulls from the full breadth of what it means to make and share art rooted in the specific context of Filipino life, while also speaking to universal impulses to create something that cannot be reduced to a tag or a keyword.
