Filipino rapper, singer, and songwriter Gloc-9, born Aristotle Condenuevo Pollisco, is a trailblazer in the Pinoy Hip-Hop scene, widely considered one of the best Filipino rappers of all time. Known for his fast-flowing "chopper" vocal style, Gloc-9's work often addresses social issues such as social injustices, poverty, and patriotism. The song "Lando (feat. Francis M)" features Francis Magalona, whom Gloc-9 has collaborated with multiple times. Magalona once described Gloc-9 as "a blacksmith of words and letters, and a true Filipino poet." Gloc-9 began his musical career in the 1990s with the gangsta rap group Death Threat before releasing his debut solo album, *G9*, in 2003. His second album, *Ako Si...*, released in 2005, showcased a more laid-back R&B sound, while the 2007 album *Diploma* included nu-metal-esque elements.
