From the Philippines, Gloc-9 performs "Ipagpatawad Mo." Born Aristotle Condenuevo Pollisco, the rapper, singer, and songwriter is known for his fast-flowing "chopper" vocal style. Fellow Filipino rapper Francis Magalona once described Gloc-9 as "a blacksmith of words and letters, and a true Filipino poet." Gloc-9 often addresses social injustices, poverty, and patriotism in his songs. He began his musical career in the 1990s with the gangsta rap group Death Threat before releasing his debut solo album, *G9*, in 2003. His second album, *Ako Si...*, released in 2005, featured a more laid-back R&B sound, while 2007's *Diploma* included nu-metal-esque elements in songs such as "The Task Is Done" and "Torpedo." Both *MKNM: Mga Kwento Ng Makata* (2012) and *Liham at Lihim* (2013) have been certified Gold and Platinum, respectively, by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI).
