Ben&Ben is a Filipino indie folk-pop band from Manila, formed in 2016 by twin brothers Paolo and Miguel Benjamin Guico, initially known as The Benjamins. The band expanded into a nine-member ensemble in 2017, adding Poch Barretto on electric guitar, Jam Villanueva on drums, Agnes Reoma on bass, Patricia Lasaten on keyboards, Toni Muñoz and Andrew de Pano on percussion, and Keifer Cabugao on violin. Ben&Ben's musical style is characterized by anthemic qualities and emotional engagement, drawing from indie folk, folk-pop, folk rock, and pop rock genres. Their lyrics often explore themes of loss, heartbreak, relationships, and the journey towards self-love. The band released their self-titled EP in 2016, with early notable singles including "Leaves" and "Kathang Isip," which contributed to their rise in prominence. "Kathang Isip" was nominated for a Myx Music Award and helped them win Best New Artist or Group at the Aliw Awards. Ben&Ben signed a record deal with Sony Music Philippines in 2019.
