From the Philippines, Ben&Ben's "Leaves" is a touchstone in the indie folk, folk-pop, folk rock, and pop rock band's catalog. Formed in 2016 by twin brothers Paolo and Miguel Benjamin Guico, the group initially performed as The Benjamins. By 2017, the duo had expanded into a nine-member ensemble, adopting the name Ben&Ben. The current lineup features Paolo Benjamin Guico on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Miguel Benjamin Guico also on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Poch Barretto on electric guitar, Jam Villanueva on drums, Agnes Reoma on bass guitar, Patricia Lasaten on keyboards, Toni Muñoz on percussion, Andrew de Pano on percussion, and Keifer Cabugao on violin. "Leaves" was released as a single from their self-titled debut EP, contributing significantly to the band's early rise to prominence alongside "Kathang Isip." Ben&Ben's lyrical themes frequently explore loss, heartbreak, relationships, and the journey toward self-love.
