Ariana Grande, born Ariana Grande-Butera in Boca Raton, Florida, in 1993, released "Dangerous Woman" as the title track of her 2016 album. This song is part of a body of work that showcases her four-octave vocal range, which extends into the whistle register. Grande's musical style evolved to incorporate electronic elements on the album *Dangerous Woman*, following her debut *Yours Truly* (2013), which featured R&B influences and debuted atop the Billboard 200. Her career began in the 2008 Broadway musical *13*, and she gained prominence for her role as Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series *Victorious* (2010–2013) and its spin-off *Sam & Cat* (2013–2014). Publications like *Rolling Stone* and *Billboard* have recognized Grande as one of the greatest artists in history, and *Time* included her on its list of the world's 100 most influential people in 2016 and 2019.
