About this Song
The collaborative pair at the core of this work, Skusta Clee and Yuridope, draw from the deep, interconnected creative ecosystem of musical artists building their practice in the Philippines, a country with a long history of blending local cultural inflections with experimental approaches that resist easy categorical sorting, a choice that is reflected in the classification of their work under the broad, inclusive Music/Other umbrella, which centers the uniqueness of their output over the limitations of rigid genre boxes that often fail to capture the full scope of what contemporary artists from the region create.
