About this Song
The Philippines has long nurtured one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant, creatively restless recorded music ecosystems, a space where artists regularly blend threads of local cultural expression with global sonic influences to craft work that defies easy categorization, and that resonates deeply with both domestic audiences and the vast global community of Filipino diaspora listeners spread across every continent. This landscape of unapologetic creative experimentation frames the work of SB19, the artist behind the sound I WANT YOU, a recording that is classified under the broad umbrella of Music/Other/Other, a designation that reflects its ability to slip past the narrow, often rigid genre labels that structure most mainstream music classification systems.
