About this Song
Griff, the English singer-songwriter born Sarah Faith Griffiths, presents "Vertigo" from the Philippines, a Rock & Roll recording. Known for her hands-on approach to artistry, Griff often produces her own songs, leveraging her ear for arrangement and sound design. Her music blends elements of pop, R&B, and electronic music, creating a contemporary and distinct sound. Griff's lyrics often explore themes of love, identity, heartbreak, and self-discovery, frequently written autobiographically. She began making music at age ten, teaching herself to produce using her brother's laptop and YouTube tutorials. Griff signed with Warner Records in 2019, releasing her debut single, "Mirror Talk," shortly after completing her A-levels. In 2021, she won the Brit Award for Rising Star, becoming one of the youngest recipients at 20 years old. Her debut mixtape, *One Foot in Front of the Other*, released in 2021, achieved commercial success and critical acclaim.
