About this Song
Griff, the English singer-songwriter known for her hands-on approach to artistry, presents "Tears For Fun," a rock & roll recording from the Philippines. Her work often blends pop, R&B, and electronic music, showcasing her ear for arrangement and sound design. Griff, born Sarah Faith Griffiths, taught herself production using her brother's laptop and YouTube tutorials from the age of ten, a skill she frequently applies to her own songs. Her lyrics, often autobiographical, explore themes of love, identity, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Since signing with Warner Records in 2019, Griff has garnered critical acclaim, including the Brit Award for Rising Star in 2021, and has opened for major artists like Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift.
