About this Song
This rock & roll recording from the Philippines features Griff, an English singer-songwriter born Sarah Faith Griffiths. Her multicultural background includes Jamaican and Chinese heritage. Griff began making music at age ten, teaching herself production using her brother's laptop and YouTube tutorials. She signed with Warner Records in 2019, releasing her debut single "Mirror Talk" after completing her A-levels. In 2021, Griff won the Brit Award for Rising Star at 20, making her one of the youngest recipients. Her debut mixtape, *One Foot in Front of the Other*, released in 2021, achieved both commercial success and critical acclaim. Griff's music blends elements of pop, R&B, and electronic music, creating a contemporary and distinct sound. Her lyrics often explore themes of love, identity, heartbreak, and self-discovery, frequently drawing from her own experiences.
