About this Song
Across the creative communities that make and share pop work in the Philippines, every new sound adds a distinct layer to the growing body of pop that originates from the country’s network of creators, and Pulubi emerges from this same space of intentional, focused pop craft. As a work rooted in the Philippines, this sound carries the specific perspective of its creator, who operates within the long line of makers building pop that resonates both within the country’s local creative spheres and beyond its borders, without ever losing the grounding that ties each work to the context in which it was shaped.
