About this Song
Pop creators working across the Philippines contribute to a creative ecosystem that has grown to support not only local audiences but the millions of members of the global Filipino diaspora who seek out work that connects them to the cultural and creative currents of their home country, a network that nurtures work that fits within the broad, widely accessible framework of pop while carrying the unique perspectives of the creators who shape it, no two works emerging from this landscape bearing the exact same creative identity even as they align with the core throughlines that define pop as a global genre.
