About this Song
TJ Monterde, the credited artist behind Walong Bilyon, anchors his work in the creative context of the Philippines, a country with a sprawling, diverse ecosystem of musical creation that gives rise to work that often pushes beyond the limits of pre-existing genre labels, which is exactly the space that this sound occupies, categorized to sit outside the standard genre frameworks that are typically used to group recorded sounds for audiences and industry stakeholders alike.
