Ikaw At Ako Pa Rin (feat. KZ Tandingan)
About this Song
TJ Monterde welcomes featured contributor KZ Tandingan for Ikaw At Ako Pa Rin, a sound rooted in the creative landscape of the Philippines, categorized under Music/Other—a classification that holds space for work that defies the narrow, often Western-centric boundaries that shape most mainstream genre labels. Unlike rigid genre boxes that force creators to trim their sonic identities to fit pre-existing, often outdated expectations, the Music/Other classification centers the autonomy of the artist to craft work that draws from whatever cultural, sonic, or personal influences shape their vision, without requiring external gatekeepers to assign a limiting label that fails to capture the full scope of what the sound offers.
