About this Song
TJ Monterde, the celebrated Filipino singer-songwriter whose career has been defined by a consistent ability to craft pop compositions that resonate deeply with audiences across generations and borders, brings that same signature knack for emotional honesty to Treat You Right, his pop sound rooted in the Philippines’ thriving OPM landscape. Long before he marked a string of historic firsts that redefined what a solo Filipino artist could achieve, Monterde built his loyal, widespread fanbase on a string of universally beloved hits that include “Palagi,” “Dating Tayo,” “Mahika,” “Tulad Mo,” and “Ikaw At Ako,” each track leaning into the quiet vulnerability and relatable storytelling that has become his enduring artistic trademark.
