About this Song
Pop from the Philippines has grown into a global force for heartfelt, relatable storytelling, anchored in artists who turn quiet, universal emotions into moments that resonate across audiences far beyond the archipelago’s borders. TJ Monterde, the creative force behind the pop track Silver, stands at the forefront of this generation of Filipino artists, his career defined by a string of beloved projects that have cemented his status as one of the most successful and celebrated creators in contemporary original Pilipino music. Long before earning the historic milestones that mark his career, Monterde built his loyal fanbase around a catalog of enduring hits that include “Palagi,” “Dating Tayo,” “Mahika,” “Tulad Mo,” and “Ikaw At Ako,” each track leaning into the same innate ability to connect that has made every new release from the artist a much-anticipated event for OPM listeners around the world.
