About this Song
TJ Monterde is an award-winning Filipino singer-songwriter. He is best known for a string of widely embraced hit songs that have formed the backbone of his celebrated career. Those hits include “Palagi,” “Dating Tayo,” “Mahika,” “Tulad Mo,” and “Ikaw At Ako.” He has garnered multiple accolades throughout his time in the industry. These accolades come from some of the Philippines’ most prestigious award-giving bodies. Those bodies include the Awit Awards and Wish Music Awards, two organizations that set the standard for recognizing outstanding work in Filipino music. He expands on this legacy of critical and commercial success with Imahinasyon, a pop work rooted in the Philippines’ thriving modern music scene. He reached a historic career landmark not long ago, when he staged a 3-day concert run at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, one of the country’s most famous and in-demand live venues. That concert series was titled “Sarili Nating Mundo.” Every single show across the three-day run sold out completely.
