About this Song
Wonders is a pop sound hailing from the Philippines, rooted in the same commitment to layered, resonant emotion and larger-than-life melody that has defined the career of The Script, a band whose ability to craft music that sticks with listeners through every high and low has enamoured fans across the entire world. That gift for songcraft has generated a catalogue of global hits that includes ‘Hall of Fame’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘Superheroes’ and ‘Breakeven’, tracks that have become cultural touchstones for audiences who see their own experiences reflected in the band’s unflinching, generous approach to writing about the full spectrum of human feeling. But the band’s path took an unthinkable turn in 2023, with the tragic loss of founder member Mark Sheehan, a loss that left his bandmates Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power to reckon with how to move forward with the project they had built together from the ground up, rooted in shared creative vision and lifelong friendship.
