About this Song
The Script’s foundational gift for writing songs rich with heady emotions and ever bigger melodies has enamoured fans across the world, translating to a catalogue of cross-border hits that have cemented their place as one of pop’s most enduring arena acts. That list of global hits includes tracks that have become cultural touchstones for listeners everywhere: Hall of Fame, The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, Superheroes, and Breakeven, each carrying the same signature balance of raw, unfiltered feeling and soaring composition that defines the band’s entire discography. Among these core, beloved tracks is Superheroes, the source material for this sound recording, Superheroes - Acoustic, a pop release from the Philippines. That same creative lineage that spawned Superheroes and their other era-defining hits faced an unthinkable turning point in 2023, when the band lost founder member Mark Sheehan.
