About this Song
The Script, whose decades-long career has been shaped by a gift for writing songs steeped in heady emotion and ever-expansive melodies that have enamoured fans across the world, introduce Run Through Walls as a standout piece of the vibrant new creative era that builds on the legacy of global connection they have spent their career nurturing. Long celebrated for the string of hits that form the backbone of their catalogue, including ‘Hall of Fame’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘Superheroes’ and ‘Breakeven’, the band has walked a path marked by unimaginable loss and profound resolve, turning grief into purpose as they step into the next phase of their journey. Following the tragic loss of founder member Mark Sheehan in 2023, his bandmates Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power vowed that the best way to pay tribute to him would be to continue the band they had built together, first reconnecting with The Script’s worldwide family of fans to reignite the shared passion that first brought the group together.
