About this Song
When Mark Sheehan, a founding core of the band that would grow to become one of the 21st century’s most reliably moving pop acts, passed away in 2023, his remaining bandmates Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power faced a crossroads familiar to any group that has built their identity on shared history and creative brotherhood, choosing not to lay the project to rest, but to carry forward the work they had built together, a decision rooted in love for their lost bandmate and their commitment to the global network of fans that had turned their small, earnest songs into universal anthems.
