About this Song
The Script’s foundational gift for writing songs steeped in heady emotion and swelling, unforgettable melodies has earned them a global fanbase that spans continents, their work resonating with listeners from every walk of life and turning out a catalogue of cross-cultural hits that have cemented their status as one of pop music’s most enduring arena-sized acts. That catalogue of career-defining tracks includes beloved fan favorites and global smashes like ‘Hall of Fame’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘Superheroes’ and ‘Breakeven’, each one leaning into the band’s signature ability to balance raw, relatable feeling with the kind of big, immersive sound that fills the largest stadiums and resonates just as deeply through personal listening devices. But in 2023, the band faced an unthinkable loss with the passing of founder member Mark Sheehan, a tragedy that left his bandmates Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power to reckon with the future of the project they had built together from the ground up.
