About this Song
Following the tragic 2023 loss of The Script’s founder member Mark Sheehan, his bandmates Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power made a deliberate, loving choice to carry on the band they had built together, framing their continuation of the project as the most fitting tribute to Mark’s legacy, and a chance to reconnect with the global network of fans that had formed a worldwide family around the band’s music over decades of creating and performing. The Script’s defining gift for writing songs rich with heady, unshakable emotion and ever bigger, more immersive melodies has long enamoured listeners across every corner of the world, leading to a catalogue of global hits that have become embedded in modern pop’s collective identity, including beloved tracks ‘Hall of Fame’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘Superheroes’ and ‘Breakeven’ that continue to resonate with long-time fans and new listeners alike.
