About this Song
The ability to distill sharp, heady emotion into towering, unforgettable melodies has long defined the creative identity that turned The Script into a global staple, a knack that has turned their work into touchstones for fans across every continent. That signature approach has yielded a catalogue of cross-generational hits that resonate long after the first listen, tracks that anchor both quiet private moments and large communal gatherings alike: Hall of Fame, The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, Superheroes, and Breakeven, each carrying the same balance of raw feeling and expansive sound that makes the band’s work feel deeply relatable, no matter where a listener calls home. The 2023 loss of founder member Mark Sheehan marked a devastating turning point for the group, forcing the remaining members Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power to confront what it would mean to move forward without one of the core architects of the sound they had spent their entire careers building together.
