About this Song
Pop’s enduring power as a vessel for both unfiltered grief and hard-won joy has allowed artists across the globe to turn personal loss into collective connection, and the form’s reach extends deeply across the Philippines, where it has long served as a primary medium for sharing stories that resonate far beyond local borders. This stretch of pop’s global legacy is woven into the work of The Script, a band whose decades-long career has been defined by the same commitment to emotional honesty and sweeping, memorable melody that makes pop such a unifying force, their work earning legions of fans across every continent, including communities in the Philippines that have long embraced their ability to turn small, intimate moments into universal anthems.
