About this Song
The Script, whose gift for crafting tracks laced with heady, relatable emotion and sweeping, larger-than-life melodies has cemented their status as one of pop’s most enduring global acts, channels their long-evolving creative perspective into Glowing, their new pop sound rooted in the Philippines. For decades, the band’s ability to balance raw, unfiltered feeling with melodies built to fill the largest spaces has enamoured listeners across every continent, leading to a catalogue of global hits that have become cultural touchstones for fans of all ages, including ‘Hall of Fame’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘Superheroes’ and ‘Breakeven’. That streak of connecting with audiences through honest, resonant work only grew deeper after the band faced an unimaginable loss in 2023, when founder member Mark Sheehan passed away, leaving his bandmates Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power to navigate a future without one of the core architects of their sound and shared identity.
