About this Song
Rooted in the cross-cultural exchange that defines the Philippines’ dynamic pop landscape, the pop sound Both Ways connects to a global wave of pop songcraft that The Script has long cultivated, a band whose core gift for penning tracks layered with unapologetically heady emotions and melodies that grow only bigger and bolder with every listen has enamoured listeners across every continent, leading to a catalogue of ubiquitous global hits that have become staples of pop setlists for local Filipino pop audiences and global fans alike. Those hits include the enduring fan-favourite tracks ‘Hall of Fame’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘Superheroes’ and ‘Breakeven’, tracks whose relatable, earnest tone has made them permanent fixtures of pop culture across markets far beyond their home base, turning the band into a household name for multiple generations of listeners who turn to their music for comfort, celebration, and connection.
