About this Song
Legacy doesn’t just linger in the work of artists who choose to carry forward a shared creative dream after unfathomable loss; it fuels every choice, every melody, every turn of phrase that ties a current chapter to all the ones that came before, turning grief into fuel rather than a barrier to new creation. That truth beats at the core of Before the Worst, a pop recording from the Philippines that aligns with the sweeping, emotionally generous sonic identity The Script has spent decades refining: an identity built on writing songs rich with heady emotions and ever bigger melodies that has enamoured fans all over the world, leading to a catalogue of global hits such as ‘Hall of Fame’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘Superheroes’ and ‘Breakeven’.
