The Fate of Ophelia - Loud Luxury Remix
About this Song
The Fate of Ophelia - Loud Luxury Remix emerges from the Philippines, rooted in the pop sphere that has become one of the most dynamic creative forces to come out of the Southeast Asian nation, leaning into the core tendencies of the genre to reframe a familiar narrative through an entirely new creative lens. This sound takes its title from one of the most debated and enduring figures in Western literary canon, Ophelia, whose fate has been reimagined across countless creative mediums long before this iteration, and the remix format allows for a fresh take on that source material that aligns with pop’s longstanding tradition of reworking and recontextualizing art to meet the moment of its release.
