About this Song
The artistic foundations that anchor creators working across the Philippines’ vibrant contemporary music ecosystem shape every choice they bring to their craft, where artists draw from decades of evolving R&B traditions that have adapted and reimagined the genre to center the specific lives, experiences, and perspectives of audiences across the archipelago and the global Filipino diaspora. For these creators, every recording is an opportunity to extend a long line of work that balances the familiar core throughlines of R&B with the unshakable cultural rootedness that defines the best of Filipino popular music, turning each new sound they release into a continuation of a larger creative lineage that they have nurtured and contributed to over the course of their career.
