About this Song
SUPAFLY and Sica, two creators rooted in the Philippines’ vibrant community of recording artists, pool their creative perspectives to bring Fly Baby to life, a sound that sits within the expansive, boundary-defying category of Music/Other, a designation that fits works that refuse to be confined to the narrow, often rigid genre frameworks that shape most commercial and independent music distribution. This classification does not signal a lack of creative focus, but rather reflects the way that some creators choose to pull from a wide range of sonic, cultural, and personal inspirations that don’t map cleanly onto preexisting labels that were built to categorize a limited set of mainstream Western and regional popular sounds.
