About this Song
Sugarcane, the six-piece folk-pop band hailing from Manila, has built a reputation for crafting emotionally compelling music that balances heartfelt storytelling, nuanced folk instrumentation, and meaningful lyricism to connect with listeners in a profound, lasting way. As a defining act in the Philippines’ thriving pop landscape, the group brings that same signature sincerity to Pagbigyan, a pop sound that aligns perfectly with the artistic throughline that has anchored every release they have shared over the course of their rising career. Over the years, Sugarcane has put out more than a dozen singles, amassing millions of streams across all major digital platforms, a milestone that would be the first of many marking their rapid, well-deserved ascent in local and regional music scenes.
