The project, which bears the full title 수석연구회: 원석을 찾아 떠나는 음악 과몰입러 모임 STONE SEMINAR, grows out of a shared commitment among a cohort of people bound by their all-consuming investment in the indie sphere of the Philippines, a space that has long nurtured work that flies under the radar of more mainstream cultural conversation, work that deserves to be held up and examined for the raw, unfiltered truth it carries.
