About this Song
The artist behind under the mat anchors their work in the specific, lived softness that defines pop from the Philippines, crafting work that centers the small, unspoken moments that shape young connection. Their output leans into the quiet, intimate spaces that make universal experiences feel personal, turning the fleeting in-between of late nights and young romance into work that resonates with anyone who has ever held a small secret close to the chest, the kind that feels too fragile to say out loud but too big to keep locked away. under the mat exists as a perfect extension of that throughline, a pop sound that leans into the unguarded warmth that runs through every piece of the artist’s growing catalogue, tying together the threads of quiet longing and gentle hope that run through all the work they share with their audience.
