About this Song
back to friends unfolds as a pop sound rooted in the creative landscape of the Philippines, tied to a broader body of work that centers the quiet, unfiltered mess of late nights and young romance, the core thematic throughline that shapes every piece of the creator’s output, which audiences can engage with in full via their public Instagram account, @sombr. This pop work draws from the rich, diverse tradition of Filipino pop music that prioritizes emotional specificity, turning small, deeply personal moments of transition into art that resonates with anyone who has ever navigated the shifting tides of connection that define early adulthood.
