About this Song
Rooted in the long, interconnected lineage of rock and roll as it took root and reconfigured itself across the Philippines, the sound known as Eman carries the distinct stamp of its origins, where the genre has never been a static borrowed import but a living, breathing form shaped by decades of local iteration, community gathering, and creative reimagining that turns every recording into a vessel for both the global language of rock and roll and the specific cultural currents that define its life in a country that has embraced the form as a core part of its own creative identity for generations.
