About this Song
The signature blend of heartfelt writing and textured sound that has turned Soapdish, one of the Philippines’ defining Pop/Rock OPM acts, into a staple of local pop audiences carries through on Sinehan, a track that extends the band’s legacy of crafting work that feels both approachable and distinct from its peers. Long known for the widespread resonance of their hits “TENSIONADO” and “PWEDE BA”, the band has spent their career honing a specific sonic identity that balances the accessibility that makes their work connect with wide audiences and the subtle, intentional edge that keeps their output feeling fresh and personal, never generic. That identity is rooted in three core layers that shape every song the band releases: first, lyrics steeped in the giddy, vulnerable, all-consuming chaos of being love-struck, writing that turns the quiet, universal mess of new or enduring affection into something listeners can see themselves in, no matter their own relationship to love and longing.
