About this Song
Soapdish, the Filipino Pop/Rock OPM act that has cemented its place in the country’s vibrant pop lineage, brings that same signature balance of heart and raw, unpolished charm to Higher, a pop work rooted in the textured sonic identity the band has honed over years of writing and performing together. Long celebrated for their breakout hits “TENSIONADO” and “PWEDE BA”, the group has never strayed from the formula that turned those early tracks into fan favorites, a deliberate fusion of earnest, love-centered lyricism, sweeping melodic frameworks, and a deliberate, pointed touch of noise that sets their work apart from many of their peers in the Philippine pop space.
