About this Song
Rooted in the creative ecosystem of the Philippines, Skate Avenue PH contributes to the vast, diverse range of independent sound output emerging from the archipelago’s network of local creators, with their work Paligaw Ligaw Tingin standing as a prime example of the kind of uncategorizable creative expression that defies the narrow, standardized genre frameworks often used to organize mainstream commercial music. Classified within the catalogue as Music/Other, this sound rejects the limitations of predefined genre buckets, a choice that honors the full autonomy of Skate Avenue PH’s creative vision, rather than forcing the work to fit into a mold that would erase its unique, rooted identity.
