This work, titled Sa Pag-Alala, emerges from the Philippines’ thriving, interconnected landscape of creators who have long used mix-focused projects to explore, rework, and elevate the full range of sound that shapes their creative lives, turning the open-ended designation of Music/Mix into more than a generic label, but a space of creative freedom that defies the pressure to box creative output into pre-existing, restrictive categories.
