The Pop recording "Sandali Lang" from the Philippines is a work by Silent Sanctuary, a six-piece band formed in 2002. The group pioneered a "Rockestra" sound, blending classical instruments like cello and violin with traditional band instrumentation. Silent Sanctuary has released an EP, "Kahimanawari," and four full-length albums: "Fuschiang Pag-ibig," "Mistaken For Granted," "Monodramatic," and "Langit Luha." Their music, known for its anthemic quality, has resonated with students and across generations, and has been featured in local movie and TV series soundtracks. The band has performed internationally since 2017 in locations including the UAE, Singapore, Canada, Australia, and the United States. Silent Sanctuary's current lineup features Sarkie Sarangay on vocals and guitar, Ronnie Ropal on bass, Allen Calixto on drums, Kim Mirandilla Ng on violin and backup vocals, Anjo Inacay on cello, and Poch Villalon on synth and backup vocals.
