About this Song
Sa Buhay Na'to carries the signature creative ethos that has made Silent Sanctuary one of the most enduring Filipino pop acts of their generation, a 6-piece alternative pop-rock band that formed in 2002 and spent more than two decades refining and expanding a one-of-a-kind approach to popular music. Long recognized as pioneers of a sound that blends the raw, propulsive energy of standard band instrumentation with the lush, sweeping tones of classical string instruments including cello and violin, the group coined their signature fusion “Rockestra”, a term that immediately sets their work apart from other acts emerging from the local Philippine scene, while leaning into the endless creative possibilities that come from merging two seemingly disparate musical worlds to create something entirely new.
