About this Song
Formed in 2002, the six-piece Filipino outfit Silent Sanctuary has redefined what pop and rock can sound like for local and global audiences alike, building a career that spans more than two decades of creative evolution, cross-cultural performance, and cross-generational connection that centers their one-of-a-kind trademark sound they’ve dubbed “Rockestra”. Recognized as one of the pioneering groups to weave classical instruments such as cello and violin into the standard lineup of guitar, bass, and drums that anchors most rock bands, the group turned a deliberate creative experiment into a blueprint that reshaped the alternative pop-rock landscape in their home country. Rebound, the group’s pop recording from the Philippines, sits within a discography that brims with the kind of work that has earned the group a reputation for music that feels both nostalgic and endlessly accessible, beloved by long-time fans and new listeners alike.
